FB-03 Employment Opportunity

Dear Retirees,

The Canada Border Services Agency continues its preparedness efforts ahead of the peak period volumes that come with the summer months. As such, the Agency is seeking interest of recently retired frontline officers to be potentially employed on a 90-day casual contract as a border services officer at the FB-03 group and level.

In order to be considered, candidates must have retired within the last two (2) years, and meet the following conditions of employment (COE):

• Psychological assessment (MMPI): valid up to 2 years from date of retirement
• Control and Defensive Tactics (CDT) training: valid for 3 years from last certification
• Secret security clearance: valid for 10 years from date of issuance.
• Medical exam (CATIII):

• valid for 2 years for retirees 46 years of age or older
• valid for 3 years for retirees 40-46 years
• valid for 5 years for retirees 39 years of age
