Richard James Cane | Richard Cane passed away in the year 2020. Richard worked in commercial fishing and as a high school teacher before he began his career in the Canada Border Services Agency, eventually specializing in marine traffic examination in Victoria, in the Pacific Region. |

William (Bill) James Wilson | July 12, 1932 - December 28, 2020 William served in the Navy during the Korean War and was also stationed in Portsmouth, UK as a crew member onboard the submarine HMS/M Alliance. He ultimately went to Esquimalt, BC. He continued to serve the government of Canada when he began working part-time for Customs and Excise. His job with Customs and Excise in Victoria, BC would send him on an accelerated career path and many relocations. He served as a Chief Superintendent in Vernon, BC for two years before being promoted to Area chief for the Yukon based in Whitehorse. He moved to Osoyoos in 1980 where he took over as Chief of Customs operation for the Port of Osoyoos from April 1980 until his retirement in 1993. |

Rene PELLETIER | René Pelletier, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at the Ste. Anne (Manitoba) Hospital. René began his career in 1970 with Canada Customs at the Emerson Border, then came to Winnipeg and worked at the airport. He worked in many locations, which took him to such interesting places as Churchill, Cyprus, Inuvik, Tuktoyaktuk and Iqaluit, then retired in Fort Frances with over 30 years of service. Robert Heinz Dueck | Robert passed away on August 26, 2020. Robert took care of his community and had many careers in his lifetime: he framed houses with his dad, and for over 10 years served as a volunteer fire fighter in Mill Bay, a Paramedic for BC Ambulance, a BC Coastal Firefighter, a Correctional Officer at William Head and lastly, from 2005 until his passing in August 2020, was a valued Border Services Officer and Detector Dog handler (K-9 Partners Max and Maggie) for the Canadian Border Services Agency, in the Pacific Region. Thomas C. Greig | August 9, 2020 at the Bridgepoint Care Hospital in Toronto. Thomas was ADM in the Dept of National Revenue - Customs and Excise. He retired in 1989 in Toronto. A private family funeral has already taken place. |
