WHO WE ARE

The CBSA Retirees’ Association (CBSA RA) is a national nonprofit affiliation of retirees from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and from the CBSA legacy organizations that became the CBSA. Ours is a proud legacy of having served Canada and Canadians from within Canada and abroad, in teams and alone, in diverse ways and, when required, in high-risk situations.

We help CBSA retirees stay connected — with each other, with the Agency, and with the shared spirit of service that defines us. Through information, community, and volunteer opportunities, members continue to make a difference and support one another in retirement.

Our Vision

A community connected by our nation’s border, united by our shared service, and strengthened by our proud past.

Our Mission

  • To Care for each other's physical and mental well-being;
  • To create a Community of shared interest;
  • To maintain a proud and active Connection with the CBSA, our membership, and the communities in which we live.

Our Values

  • Transparencyin governance, policies, communication, and elected executives
  • Accountability responsible to the membership for our actions
  • Collaboration – we accomplish more when we work together with our membership and like-minded associations
