Standing Beside You - Survivor and Executor Support Program The CBSA Retirees’ Association (CBSA RA) offers a one-on-one support program to assist survivors and executors following the loss of a loved one. This service provides personalized guidance to help navigate the administrative requirements around transitioning pensions and benefits to survivors/ beneficiaries or, in the case when there is no entitled survivor, to cancelling coverage and monthly pensions to prevent overpayments. Our trained volunteers can help you: Understand key steps and timelines; Navigate pension, benefits, and documentation requirements; Identify relevant contacts and resources; Reduce uncertainty by providing clear, compassionate guidance. This program complements the Survivors and Executors Guide Manual and ensures you are not managing the process alone. For assistance, please contact: contactus@cbsaretirees.ca |
